Avella Aurora: What Treasure Hill Is Building
Treasure Hill describes Avella as a collection of 2-car garage homes in a mature Aurora neighbourhood with tree-lined streets. In addition, the builder says homes offer up to 5 bedrooms and up to 2,400 square feet. Our own Avella listing lists freehold townhomes on three storeys with a finished basement, a five-piece appliance package and air conditioning included, based on the information we received. However, features and pricing can change, so always confirm them against the current price list.
The Avella page on the Treasure Hill website also states that the starting price carries an asterisk. Therefore, treat $799,900 as a starting point, not a guarantee for every plan or lot. Ask for the full price sheet and the premiums for corner or larger layouts before you compare.
Why Two-Car Garage Townhomes Matter in Aurora
Most townhomes in the GTA come with a single-car garage, or a tandem driveway at best. In contrast, a true two-car garage gives a family room for two vehicles, bikes, strollers and seasonal storage. Furthermore, it keeps street parking free, which matters in winter. For households with two commuters, this one feature can decide the purchase.
Space is the second reason. Homes of up to 2,400 square feet with as many as five bedrooms compete with many detached homes at lower price points elsewhere in York Region. Meanwhile, freehold ownership means you own the land, and you avoid the monthly condo corporation fees that come with common elements. Ask the sales team to confirm tenure and any maintenance fees in writing.
The Leslie Street Location and Daily Life
Avella sits near Leslie Street, close to Aurora’s retail, schools and recreation. The builder highlights more than 800 acres of green space and an extensive trail network across Aurora, along with downtown Aurora, shopping and dining just minutes away. In fact, the Town of Aurora publishes parks, trail and recreation information that helps you judge the lifestyle first-hand.
Commuters should test the drive at peak hours. Wellington Street East leads toward Highway 404, while Aurora GO is the closest rail option. Travel times quoted by builders and listing sites are estimates, so try the route yourself on a weekday morning.
Visiting the Avella Presentation Centre
The presentation centre and model suite are at 85 Monarch Park Gate in Aurora. According to the builder website, hours are Monday to Thursday from 1 pm to 8 pm, Friday by appointment only, and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 11 am to 6 pm. Compare Other Aurora New Homes
Before you decide, compare Avella with other Aurora options. For example, Livewell on Wellington townhomes from $699K offers a lower entry price, while Hartman Square condos suit first-time buyers who prefer a smaller footprint. In addition, our Monteverdi Estates listing covers larger estate homes for buyers with a bigger budget.
