Le Sentier Towns by Rysense Development in Richmond Hill

Connectivity at Le Sentier

Le Sentier is planned at Elgin Mills Road East and Yonge Street in Richmond Hill, so Yonge Street and its York Region Transit and Viva rapid transit service are at the doorstep. Builder materials describe Richmond Hill GO Station as roughly a 5 to 8 minute drive, and Highways 404 and 400 as the main routes for drivers. Confirm GO train frequency and Viva routes before planning a transit commute.

Local Living at Le Sentier

Le Sentier is a boutique collection of only 15 non-stacked, three-storey townhomes, which keeps the setting low-density and private. Richmond Hill’s Yonge Street corridor offers everyday shops, restaurants and services, and the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts at 10268 Yonge Street hosts concerts and family shows. Builder materials cite Hillcrest Mall and a Loblaws as nearby, so errands are manageable by a short drive.

Outdoor and Recreation

Mill Pond Park lies south of Elgin Mills Road between Bathurst Street and Yonge Street, connected by trails to nearby green spaces. Westbrook, west of the site, is known for ravines and river valleys, and Twickenham Park is its largest green space. To the north, Lake Wilcox in Oak Ridges is the largest kettle lake on the Oak Ridges Moraine, used for fishing, kayaking, windsurfing and skating. Confirm drive times.

Schools and Education

Richmond Hill is served by the York Region District School Board and the York Catholic District School Board. Builder materials name Silver Pines Public School, Richmond Hill High School and St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic High School among nearby schools. Silver Pines is a JK to Grade 8 school at 112 Stave Crescent. Catchments change, so families should confirm assigned schools, French immersion and program options with each board before buying.

Shopping and Dining

Hillcrest Mall and a Loblaws are the shopping anchors named by the builder, and the Yonge Street corridor offers grocers, restaurants and services close to Elgin Mills Road. Richmond Hill is known for a wide mix of cuisines and independent food shops, though specific restaurants near the site were not verified. Plan on a short drive for larger shopping trips and confirm the distance to each centre.

Family and Kid Friendly Amenities

Mill Pond Park and Lake Wilcox give families outdoor space within a short drive, and the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts runs family programming. The Richmond Hill Public Library’s central branch at 1 Atkinson Street offers children’s programs. Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital at 10 Trench Street, about a kilometre from Yonge Street and Major Mackenzie Drive, is the town’s main hospital.

Commute and Transit Access

Builder materials describe Richmond Hill GO Station as about a 5 minute drive, while another source says about 8 minutes, and the Richmond Hill line carries riders toward Union Station. Viva rapid transit and York Region Transit buses run along Yonge Street, the corridor beside the site. Drivers have Highways 404 and 400 nearby, and Elgin Mills Road gives a route across town. Check current GO and Viva schedules.
